Kesarwala Shahi Tukda

Recipe:
six slices of bread cut diagonally.keep them for an hr to make it little dry. make sugar syrup of about 1/4 cup by mixing it with water & let it boil. then simmer for few mins..add kesar & cardamom powder to the syrup. Boil milk( 2 cup full cream) & reduce it to 1/4 th the quantity. add few strands of kesar.When milk is thickened whisk it well. apply ghee on either sides of the bread pieces & fry lightly on non stick pan until they turn golden brown colour. arrange these bread pieces on a serving tray & then pour sugar syrup over it. wait until it seeps down. Now spread the milk ( thickened) on top of it & garnish with almonds, pistachios.Serve chilled.
