Saat

Saat - Shyamala Shenoy

Recipe :
Take 1 cup of Maida, add 2 tsp sugar powder, cardamom powder n 1/2 cup ghee or oil..Mix and make the dough like chapathi dough by adding lil water..Make lemon size balls, fllatten it lil .. On a low med flame ,deep fry in oil till slight brown n keep aside.. Now in a pan take 3/4 cup of sugar add lil water brg to boil, when it started to bubble n bcm lil thick n get one string consistency, turn off the gas..Mix well.. Now soak the fried saat one by one in sugar syrup n place on greased tray..Take out once it s completely cooled down.. Saat is ready
