Apple Halwa - Laxmi Bhandary
Ingredients:
Grated apple 4-5, 1/2 cup sugar, ghee 4-5 tbsps, few raisins and cashewnuts and 1 tsp cardamom powder.
Method:, In a pan heat ghee,add cashewnuts and raisins fry for 1 minute and keep aside.In a same pan add rest of the ghee and grated apple and fry for 3- 4 minutes.Then add sugar , turn over constantly till the blend become semi solid.When ghee reappears on side of the vessel, mix cardamom powder and fried raisins and cashewnuts.Apple halwa is ready......Neetha Kamath
