Methi Moong Dal Upkari

Methi Moong Dal Upkari  -  Shyamala Shenoy

Recipe
Cook 1/2 cup moong dal separately.. Dont overcook..It shud hold its shape..Now in kadai, put lil oil ,fry 6 to 7 crushed garlic cloves n red chillis, add washed n chopped methi leaves abt say 2 cups..fry for 2 -3 min. now add cooked dal n salt ..Add lil water,u can add lil jaggery if u want ,.. Cook till it becomes dry.. add 1 tbsp grated coconut (optional).. cook for another min.
