Razza Gobboru - Nisha Baliga Shenoy
Ingredients:
½ kg Mackeral ( Bangude fish )
¼ cup coconut grated
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp methi seeds
½ tsp turmeric pd
10 dry red chillies roasted
Lemon sized tamarind
1 inch ginger chopped
4 cloves garlic
2 green chillies
1 small onion chopped
1 tsp coconut oil to garnish
Salt to taste
METHODRoast coriander and methi seeds and keep aside .
Grind together coconut , chillies, haldi, tamarind, coriander seeds, methi seeds to a fine paste.
Half a way, add raw ginger, garlic, onion and green chillies and grind for 5 seconds.
In a thick bottom, transfer the ground masala , add to the gravy consistency add salt and bring it to a boil.
Then add the fish pieces and bring it to the final boil and garnish with a tsp of coconut oil
Serve hot with Steaming Boiled rice . Its tastes Heavenly !!! yummy !
