Bhindi Masala - Dr Ramesh S Shenoy
Ingredients:
200 grm Ladies finger (wash & wipe it, cut into 1 inch length, Knife should be dry so that the juice of the ladies finger is retained within it).
4 table spn oil,
1 tsp jeera,
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
2 chopped green chillies,
1 tsp each red chilly powder & garam masala.
1 table spn coriander powder

Heat oil in the non stick pan, add jeera. Add ladies finger, fry for a while & leave it to cook for 7 - 8 minutes, stirring in between. Add rest of the ingredients one by one. Mix properly. close the lid for 2 minutes. Lastly add salt to taste & cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot with white rice or chapati.
