Kairi Chi Kadhi


Kairi Chi Kadhi  -  Nutan Shenoy Kini

Recipe:

Wash well n pressure cook 2 large green raw mangoes. Seperate pulp from seed. Do not discard seed. Grate 2 coconuts n grind with 15 green chillies and 2 tbsp raw rice. Make a smooth paste. Now add the pulp and the skin too. Blend well. Boil this adding water as per desired consistency of kadhi. Add the seeds in the masala n boil well with turmeric pwd n salt as desired. Boil well. Season with loads of garlic n garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Kairichi kadhi is ready to be served - tangy n spicy, with hot rice, rotis or jowari or rice bhakris .

Alternately, you can use coconut milk and season with mustard seeds curry leaves hing n curry leaves too.
