Eggless Oreo Chocolate Cake

Eggless Oreo Chocolate Cake - Shruthi PaiIngredients

All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Cocoa Powder - 3 tbsp
Crushed oreo cookies - 8cookies
Baking powder - 3/4 tsp
Salt a pinch
Vanilla extract few drops
Melted butter - 1 cup
Milk as required to make the batter to dropping consistency

Melt the butter in microwave for a minute.
In a bowl, take the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt. crushed Oreo Cookies, melted butter and gently mix in well. Finally add the baking powder. Depending on the consistency, add the milk to make the batter to a drop consistency.
Pre heat the oven at 185 Deg C and transfer the prepared batter to a greased and dusted pan.
Bake at 185 Deg C for 12 minutes.
Check with a knife inserted to check if the cake is done in all sides.
Allow the cake to completely cool before spreading the chocolate frosting.

Chocolate Frosting

Cocoa powder - 2 tsp
Powdered Sugar - 3 - 4 tsp
Butter/oil 1 tbsp
Cream - 1 tbsp

Take all the ingredients in a pan, heat over slow flame and blend to a smooth paste, allow it to cool, while you stir it for couple of minutes till it smooths well.
Once the cake is done, pour the frosting over the cake and spread well.
I also used colored sugar candies, white choco chip and color balls for decoration.
