Green Peas And Mint Soup - Shobana Rao

Recipe:
Fresh Green Peas, 3/4 cup Oil, 1 tsp Onions, chopped, 1/4 cup Garlic, finely chopped, 1 tsp Salt, to taste Black Pepper, freshly ground, to taste Cornflour, 1 and 1/2 tsp, dissolved in 1 tbsp. of water Mint leaves, finely chopped, 1 tbsp. Method: Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and saute the onions on medium flame for 30 seconds. Add the garlic and saute for a few more seconds Add the green peas and 2 cups of water, mix well and cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes while stirring occasionally Allow it to cool and blend in a mixer to a smooth puree Transfer into a pan, add cornflour-water mixture, salt, pepper, and mint. Mix well. Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
