Stir Fried Mushrooms in Chilly Garlic Sauce - Sunayana Gupta
INGREDIENTSButton Mushrooms – 200 gms.
Carrot – 100 gms.
Red chilly – 2 or to taste
Garlic pods – 2
White vinegar – 3-4 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Salt – To taste
Oil – 2 tsp
Method –1.Cut mushrooms in quarters lengthwise. Keep aside.
2.Peel n cut carrots in 2 inch pieces. Keep aside.
3.In a mixer…..grind together the red chilly, garlic, vinegar & sugar to a paste. No need to add any water. You can keep this mixture slightly ‘Coarse’ if you want. This would give a nice texture.
4.Heat oil in a pan. Add the above grounded mix.
5.Saute for half a minute or till the raw smell of garlic goes.
6.Add soya sauce to this n stir for few seconds.
7.Add the mushrooms n carrots. Put salt and give a nice stir.
8.Stir fry the veggies on high flame for about 2 minutes. Do not forget to stir occasionally.
‘Stir Fried Mushrooms in Chilly Garlic Sauce’ is ready. Serve hot with bread, paranthas or cumin rice.
