Green Apple Salad

Green Apple Salad - Shobana Rao

Green Apple, 1, wash, peel and core Lime juice, a little Raisins, 1 tbsp, soaked in a little warm water Green Chillies, 2, crushed with a little salt Thick curd, 2 cups (not sour) Coriander leaves, chopped, 1 tbsp Salt, to taste Sugar, to taste For the seasoning: Mustard seeds,1 tsp Oil, 1/2 tsp Asafoetida, a pinch Curry leaves, a sprig Method:

Cut the green apple into small pieces and smear them with a little lime juice to prevent discolouration. Drain the water from the raisins In a bowl, beat the curd until smooth and add the apple pieces and other ingredients Prepare the seasoning and pour it over the salad
