Rani Fish Nellore Curry - Nisha Baliga Shenoy
1 kg fish ( I have used rani fish )
1 cup tamarind pulp
4 onions chopped
2 raw mangoes or 2 tsp aamchur pd
2 Tomatoes chopped
8 green chillies chopped
4 tbsp oil
salt to taste
some coriander leaves
DRY MASALA
15 red chillies
2 tbsp red chillies
1/2 fenugreek seeds
1/4 haldi pd
Dry roast all the masala items and powder it.
heat oil in a pan,add chopped onions, then green chillesand fry till transparent.
Then add the dry masala and fry well.
Add the amchur pd or raw mango and tamarind pulp.
Bring this to a boil. add salt to taste.
Add the cleaned fish, dont stir much after adding fish.
Cook till done.
Garnish with coriander leaves .
Spicy Tangy Nellore fish curry is ready.
