Pepper Chicken - Seema Mallya
Ingredients:
Chicken 500-600gms (bone less) cut into small pieces
For Marination:-
1/2tbs Pepper powder
2tbs lemon juice
Salt
For Masala:-
4-6 Cloves
1 tbs cinnamon powder
1/2 tbs Fenugreek seeds
6 tbs Oil
2 Onion finely chopped
2 Capsicum cubes
2 Green chilly
1 Tomato finely chopped
1/2 inch Ginger finely chopped
4-5 Garlic pods finely chopped
1/2tbs Chilly powder
1/4 Turmeric powder
1/4 Garam masala powder
7-8 Curry leaves finely chopped
Salt
Method:
* First marinate the chiken with lemon juice, pepper powder & salt. Keep it aside for 30min
* Heat oil in a pan fry the capsicum cubes before it loose the clour remove and keep it aside.
* Same pan fry the onion till it turns brown now again remove 1/4 of fryed onion and keep it aside.
* Add cloves, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon powder, chopped ginger, garlic, green chilly, curry leaves to the browned onion. Let it cook till the raw smell goes.
* Now add masala's chilly powder, pepper powder, garam masala & mix well.
* Add marinated chiken pieces & close the lid till the chiken is done.
* Remove the lid & then keep on high flame so chiken can absorbs all the water.
* Last mix 1/4 fryed onion and capsicum cubes.
* Garnish with Curry leaves
