Paneer Chilly


Paneer Chilly  -  Tanushree Aich

Ingredients

Batter for frying paneer
Maida
Soya sauce
Chilly sauce
Chilly flakes

For the gravy
100 gms paneer cubed
Onions roughly chopped
Capsicums sliced
2" Ginger finely chopped
5-6 pods garlic finely chopped
3-4 green chillies slit
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp chilly sauce
2 tbs corn flour
3 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Procedure

Make a batter for frying the paneer mixing maida, soya, chilly sauce n chilly flakes
Coat the paneer lightly wit this batter
Fry the paneer until lightly brown. Too much frying might make the paneer chewy
In the same wok add onions n capsicums
Fry until translucent
Add chopped ginger, garlic & slit green chillies
Add in the sauces - soy & chilly sauce
Add salt
Add the paneer stirring for a min
Alongside make a slurry of cornflour n water ensuring there r no lumps
Pour in the slurry & stir till the gravy thickens slightly coating the paneer well
You may garnish wit spring onion greens (i dint hv them)
Chilly paneer is ready!
