Pachadi

Pachadi - Rajashree Acharya Kamat

Recipe:


Soak 1 cup Moong Dal for abt. 4 hrs. Grind together a li'l grated coconut,red chillies (acc. to taste) & a li'l Asafoetida. Let this be a bit coarse & add less water. Give just one whirl of the soaked Moong Dal in the mixer. Add this to the ground masala. Add crushed Jaggery & salt to this & mix everything properly. Add finely chopped raw mango to this& mix. (Upon keeping this for some time, water is released & so water should be used less while grinding.)
