Moong Dal Kosumbari - Seema Mallya
Ingredients:
1 cup moong dal
1 carrot grated
1 cucumber fine chopped (optional)
1green chilly
3tbs coconut grated
1/2 lemon juice
1/4 tbs musterd seeds
2-3 curry leaves
1tbs oil
Pinch hing ( Asafetida)
Coriyander leaves
Salt
Method:
* Soak the moong dal i water for 2 hours
* In mixer grind coconut & greenchilly (not smooth)
*Drain moong dal and mix with lemon add grated carrot grinded coconut & mix well.
* Heat oil for seasoning add mustered seeds when it splutters add curry leaves and asafetida
* Add this seasoning in to kosumbari and mix well.
