Makkai Paneer Masala



Chop onions finely. Saute in a lil oil with a bay leaf or two till the onions are trabslucent. Add gg paste. Saute till dry smell disappears. Now add tomato puree and boil well till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Now add chilly pwd, kashmiri chilly pwd, turmeric pwd n salt. Mix well. Add beaten fresh curd. Let it boil. Add the washed corn. Cover and cook. In the meantime, dry roast coriander seeds shahjeera jeera dalchini laung few peppercorns a bay leaf or two n a star anise. Powder when cooled. Add it to the corn. Mix well. Add paneer. Mix well. Cook for a while. Serve hot garnishing with chopped coriander leaves. Goes well with phulas rotis or naan or kulchas.
