Jalapeno and Cheese Croquettes - Roopa Suraj
Recipe:
Mix in a bowl 1 cup grated paneer, 1 & 1/4 cup grated mozarella cheese, 2 jalapenos ( Chilli pepper) Chopped finely, 1/2 tsp pepper pdr, salt to taste ....Devide the mixture into 8 balls, shape each ball into rolls & flatten the sides of the rolls.....& keep aside....Churn 2 slices of bread in a mixer to get fresh bread crumbs....spread bread crumbs & 1/2 cup maida in seperate plates....take 1 cup water in a shallow flat bowl...Roll croquettes over plain flour...then dip in the water for a second & immediately roll it over the dry bread crumbs....all the sides should be completely covered wwith bread crumbs....Heat oil in a kadai & fry croquettes till golden brown on a low flame... recipe for the dip : Mix 1/2 cup hung yogurt, 3 tb sp cheese spread, 1 tb sp milk, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper pdr, 1/4 tsp chilli flakes, 1/4 ttsp oregano....together....& use as dip.
