Gharayi

Gharayi - Priya r Shenoy

Recipe:
Chop d jackfruit into small pieces...
heat around 2 tab sp of ghee n saute these pieces in ghee till dey r soft ...almost for around 15 mins...
now add sufficent amount of jaggery... (or melted jaggery) .. let it cook nicely....now add the thin cococnut milk ( i gr*ated almost 2 large coconuts )....... cook for another 10 to 15 mins......lastly add the thick milk.....turn off as soon as it starts boil frm d sides...turn off ..sprinkle carodmom powder on top..
if its watery.....my mom add around 1 or 2 teasp of rava too to make it thick...but i didnt as i had carefully made d coconut milk thick.....
dis s lil dffrnt frm d normal chakkaprathaman ...where u have to cook d jackfruit till it turns mushy n brownish
