Fresh Fruit Tarts - Madhukantha Kamath
Recipe:
Make a soft pliable dough with 200 gms flour 50 gms icing sugar 50 gms butter pinch of salt n one egg this is for the pastry crust . Line the tart tins or muffin moulds with little butter place a ball of the dough neatly n blind bake, 7 the ready shells will slip out easily .next slowboil 1/4 ltr milk on low heat add 3 tbsps sugar 3 tsp cornflour one egg ,a drop of vanilla essence n mix well till u get a thick custard ,cool it ,this is ur pastry cream for the filling , spoon it into the tarts n arrange multicoloured cut fruits n serve
