Chicken Shawarma Rolls - Anita Kamath Pai
Method:-
Finely slice 4 onion, 1 tomato, lettuce any any pickled vegetables of your choice(optional) , keep aside, marinate 800 grams bone in chicken for about 6-7 wraps in good helping of garlic powder, 1 table spoon cinnamon powder, shawarma spices powder(can skip if unavailable ) , plenty of lemon juice , salt (keep overnight minimum can be marinated for even 24-36 hrs in refrigerator ) grill for 30 mins at 180 degrees pre heated oven , debone n save for further use. On a flat bread (khoobus (lebnese bread available easily in gulf)/ chapati/ soft roti/roomali roti), spread garlic mayoneese (egg yoke blend with garlic paste n impulsive with one cup oil /can use ready made mayo n garlic powder in combination) put the chopped ingredients in a line then the shredded chicken pieces , few french fries /curly fries (fresh or frozen made as per packet instruction ) , sprinkle salt n drizzle tahini paste ( readily available in super markets/or use till paste ground in olive oil)n close wraps. Serve
