Coconut Burfi

Coconut Burfi  -  Chandrika Kini

recipe: 
Grind 1 cup freshly grated coconut with 5 to 6 cashews using little milk. Dissolve 3/4 cup of sugar in water by keeping the vessel on the flame. Now add the ground mixture & stir till u get the barfi consistency. add 3 tbsps of ghee when the mixture starts to leave the sides of the vessel. Add cardamom powder. once u get the required consistency, spread it on to a greased thali & cut into desired shape. Normally coconut barfis are cut into square shape.
