Paneer Makhani

Paneer Makhani - Anitha Shenoy

Ingredients:

Paneer cubes-200gms
Yogurt-2tbsp
Ginger+garlic paste-1tsp
Food color-1/2 tsp Tomato-1 chopped Onion-1 chopped Red chilly powder-1 tsp Garam masala-1/2 tsp Green chillies-3 chopped Cardamom-3 Cashew paste-2 tsp Bay leaves-2 Butter/oil- 1-2 tsp Salt to taste.

Method: 

Fry chopped onion, cardamoms and green chillies for 5 mns in oil... Add chopped tomatoes and cook for another 5mns. Add chilly powderand salt along with yogurt and cashew paste. Cook for 3-4 mns.add food colour. Allow to cool and blend the above masala.
Take a kadai.. Add a spoon of butter/oil, add 2 bay leaves, add ground masala paste... Cook for few mns. Add garam masala powder cook till oil leaves the corner. Add paneer cubes, cook till gets mixed well with the gravy.
Gravy consistency can be curry consistency or semi dry. If desire can add a spoonful of cream on top. I've not added in this pic.
