Paneer Burji - Deepa Shenoy
Ingredients
Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 1 packet (200gms)
Onion - 1 large, thinly sliced
Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilly Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tspCoriander Leaves - a little
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
I have added Capsicum too
Method
Crumble the cottage cheese into fine granules.
Heat oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and allow it to splatter.
Add sliced onions, and saute till they turn transparent.
Now add the chopped tomatoes and saute for a few minutes.
Add the chilly powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt.
Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
Add in the crumbled cottage cheese and mix all the ingredients well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with Rotis or Rice
