Oats Pakodas - Tanushree Aich
Recipe:
1 cup oats
2 tbsp gram flour
21/2 tbsp maize flour
Chopped onions
Left over veggies - carrots, beans, cabbage, cauliflower - all finely chopped
Ginger finely chopped
Green chillies chopped
Spice pwdr - chilly, turmeric, coriander, cumin
Coriander finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Procedure
In a bowl take oats, gram n maize flour
Add chopped onions, veggies, ginger , green chillies, coriander leaves, spices pwdrs & salt
Add water to make a batter..consistency of that of onion pakodas...not too dry n at the same time not too watery
Heat oil in a wok
Once hot, drop the bajiya batter n fry till golden brown
Serve hot with ketchup!
