Gavsalli is chapathi stufffed with rice flour....this is..Jayashri Shenoy Akka's....Awesome recipe....Wheat flour- 2 cups, prepare chapathi dough.....Rice flour - 2 cups.. Boil water in a pan..add salt to taste, 1/2 tsp oil & rice flour, mix well & cover with lid...remove from fire & keep aside for 1/2 an hour ...now knead this to make a soft dough.... then make equal no. of balls from both the doughs....Roll the wheat balls into puris , keep rice ball on it.. cover the rice ball completely with puris...& again roll in shape of a chapathi....Cook on a hot tawa on both sides
