Adgai

Adgai - Anuradha Prabhu


Method:

Steam cook 1cup of raw jackfruit pieces. Roast 1tbsp of dry coriander seeds, 1tbsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds, 12- 15 red chillies separately in a little oil till light brown. Add 1tsp of asafoetida pd & salt to taste & add boiled water & grind to a coarse consistency. In a bowl add 1 cup of chopped medium raw mango pieces, steamed jackfruit pieces and the ground masala, mix well. Check the salt, if reqd add little. The pickle is ready, can be used for a week if refrigerated.
