Curd Rice

Curd Rice - Laxmi Bhandary

Ingredients: Half pav rice, 4 green chillies, 2 cups curds, 1 tsp bengal gram dal, 1 tsp black gram dal, 1 tsp mustard seeds, salt, 1 small piece ginger, 2 tsps ghee, few curry leaves, few coriander leaves, few cashew nuts and 2 tsps pomegranate seeds.


Method: Wash rice. Cook and keep aside. To d curds add chopped green chillies, minced ginger, & salt. Mix cooked rice with curds and turn over gently. Season with mustard, black gram daal, bengal gram daal & curry leaves in ghee. Add chopped coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds and fried cashew nuts.
