Crumb Fried Chicken

Crumb Fried Chicken - Asha Pai

Recipe:
500 gms of boneless chicken chunks washed and dried with tissue paper or a kitchen towel. 2 tbs spoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of freshly pounded black pepper powder, 1 tea spoon of vinegar, salt to taste. (Optional:
1/4 tsp of dried mixed green herbs). Mix everything together and marinate for at least 2 hrs in the refrigerator..
1 slightly beaten egg and fresh bread crumbs to coat. oil for deep frying.


remove chicken from fridge add the lightly beaten egg to this and mix it till evenly coated. One by one, coat the chicken pieces with bread crumbs tightly press so that the crumbs stick to the pieces evenly. Deep fry in hot oil till evenly brown. Once it is in hot oil, do not stir until the chicken is half cooked or the coating will fall off..
