Rava Cake

Rava Cake - Asha Pai
3 cups Rava, 1 cup milk, 1 cup dahi, ½ cup ghee, 1 & ½ cups sugar (those with sweet tooth may add 2 cups), 1 tsp baking soda. Some cardamom powder for flavour. (Sometimes I use vanilla and cinnamon powder)
Dry roast rava till aromatic. When cool add the rest of the ingredients and beat well, set aside for 2 hrs. Pour into a greased thali and steam for 15-20 minutes like we do for dhoklas/ramdhan…
