Coconut Vada

Coconut Vada - Deepika Shenoy


Recipe:


Grated coconut-2 cups
Semolina-1/2 cup
Besan-1/2 cup
Mustard-1 tsp
Green chillies -7, chopped
Curry leaves - 5-6
Salt to taste, Oil for deep frying...
Mix coconut, semolina, besan, salt, green chillies & curry leaves with little water & make thick dough (like we make for vadas).... Heat little oil in a pan, Splutter mustard seeds... mix this with the dough... Make vadas with the dough & Deep fry.... You have the option of serving it with chutney or sauce.
