Coconut Sannan (Idli) - Laxmi Bhandary
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut gratings, half pav raw rice, 10 roasted red chillies, tamarind small size, 1 small piece asafoetida (hing), 2 table spoon finely chopped onion, 2 tbsps finely chopped cabbage and salt to taste.

Soak rice in water for 15 minutes. Wash & keep aside. Grind coconut gratings with roasted red chillies, tamarind and hing to a smooth paste. Add rice and grind till it takes rava form. Add salt. Grease idli donne, pour masala in to it. Cook over steam in pedavan under cover for half an hour. Pressure cooker can be used instead of pedavan. Remove when it is cool.
