Chicken Kolapuri

Chicken Kolapuri - Shobha Shenoy
marinate for 500 GMs chicken....11/2tsp ginger garlic paste.1/2tsp haldi.nsalt.2tbsp curd...marinate n keep it in refrigerator for 2 to 3hrs

For grinding...1n 1/2 cup of sliced onions.

1/2tsp kuskus(soak in warm water)
4--5cashunuts
3--4tsp fresh coconut
3lavang
6-7 pepper corns
1"cinnamon stick
1/2tps shahajeera
1tsp corianderseed

Grind with 1/2cup of warm water n make smooth paste.

For gravy;; 1/2 cup finally chopped onion
2tsp red chilli powder
1cup chopped tomato
3tbs oil
Method..in a kadai heat oil.add finally chopped onions.stir till turns soft n translucent..add termeric powder.red chili pdr.n tomato.stir till you see oil coming out fr d mixture.
Add ground spices.n onion paste.add salt mix well.let it cook for 2min..
Add marinated chicken n stir. Add sufficient water to make thin gravy I cover it n let it cook until well cooked.
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve with chapati or rice.
