Cauliflower Special - Laxmi Bhandary
Method: Remove leaves of cauliflower. Wash in salt water Cook on steam for 5 minutes in pressure cooker
without weight.Grind ginger, garlic & chillies to a fine paste. Grate onions. Fry curry leaves & cumin seeds in hot oil. When cumin splutters add grated onions & fry till brown. Add the ground masala paste & fry for another 2 minutes. Add whole cauliflower, tomato & salt. Cook till completely done. Add curds.Allow to simmer for a few minutes.Remove from fire. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapatis.
Recipe: Half kg gobi, 6 cloves garlic, 1 Piece ginger, 2 green chillies, 2 red chillies, 2 tbsps oil, a bunch of coriander leaves, 1 tsp cumin seeds ,3 tomatoes, 2 medium onions, half cup curds, few curry leaves salt.
