Brownie

Brownie  -  Namita Tickare

What do we need:-

Makes 12 brownies
½ cup unsalted Butter, melted
1 cup Castor sugar
2 Eggs
½ cup All purpose flour (maida)
1 tsp Baking powder
1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa powder
¼ tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla essence
½ cup Walnuts, chopped (optional)
What do we do it:-

1 Pre-heat the oven to 175 Degree Celsius.
2 Grease and flour an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking pan.
3 Sieve the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder and keep aside.
4 In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together till nice and fluffy.
5 Add the eggs one by one and whisk nicely.
6 Combine the sieved flour mixture and fold in the sugar mixture.
7 Mix in the vanilla essence and stir in the flour dusted chopped walnuts if desired.
8 Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
9 Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven or until edges are firm.
10 When done cool it before removing it and cutting into squares.
11 Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with chocolate sauce.
