Benda Hooli

Benda Hooli - Laxmi Bhat
Recipe:
Roast heeng,2 tsp coriander seeds,1/4methi seeds,1/2tsp mustard seeds in lil oil....roast 1cup grated coconut with turmeric powder till light brown...grind with roasted red chillies n tamarind to a coarse paste...let boil the ground masala with 1/4 cup cooked tur daal....drop ladies finger(cut 1-2 inches)...add salt cook till done ..season with mustard curry leaves...n aadd Lil chopped coriander leaves.
