Batata Bonda


Batata Bonda - Kiranmayi Kamath 


Recipe:


Boiled and coarsely mashed potatoes.
chopped green chillies(qualtity according to your choice),

 coriander leaves,
 haldi powder,
 salt to taste
 Hing powder, and 
chopped garlic(5-6 cloves finely chopped),
 lemon juice 1 tsp
Udad dal.
Mustard seeds.

Add chopped chillies, coriander leaves,curry leaves to the mashed potatoes, prepare seasoning with mustard, urad dal and hing powder and haldi powder add the seasoning to the potato mix.add salt to taste and add the lemon juice mix well. Make small balls of the potato mix flatten them a little and keep aside.

Outer coating batter:
Take besan in a bowl add salt,chilli powder and little hing powder make a smooth batter by adding water slowly.the batter should not be too thin.coat the potato mix in this batter and deep fry. Batata vada is ready for savouring
