Alu Mutter - Laxmi Bhandary
Ingredients:
Half kg peas, 2 big potatoes, 2 big onions, 3 big tomatoes, 1 small piece ginger, 10 garlic cloves, 1tbsp chilly powder, half teaspoon turmeric powder, 1tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp salt, 4 tbsp ghee or oil & few coriander leaves.
Method:
Grind onions garlic & ginger to a smooth paste. Heat ghee or oil in frying pan. Add onion, ginger paste & fry till the raw smell goes. Then add chilly, turmeric & garam masala powders as well as tomato pieces. Cook for 2 minutes. Add enough water to make thick gravy. Mix peas & potato pieces. Cook till tender. Then add salt & chopped coriander leaves. Mix well. Bring to boil.Remove from flame.
