Alsande Bee Kodhel - Anitha Shenoy
This recipe can be used for kulith(horse gram)too
Ing:
1/4 cup of alsande(lobia)bee
Coconut-1/2(grated)
Red chillies-10
Tamarind- marble size
Garlic cloves-7-8
Salt to taste
Oil for seasoning-1 tbsp
Method:
Pressure cook the pulses and allow to cool
Grind coconut,tamarind and red chillies to a fine paste.
Add the ground masala to the cooked pulses and add salt.
Cook for 10mns or till oil leaves the sides. Take a small kadai add oil then add crushed garlic later add this seasoning to the curry. Serve with hot rice.
