Garlic Spaghetti With French Beans And Pepper - Sunayana Gupta
INGREDIENTSSpaghetti – 200 gms.
French Beans – 150 gms.
Bell Pepper – 2 medium
Garlic – 6-8 pods
Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
Tomato Sauce – 2 tsp
Soya Sauce – 1 tsp
Chilly Sauce – 1 tsp or to taste
Salt – To taste
Oil – 2-3 tsp
A whole new spaghetti recipe with fresh seasonal bell peppers and French beans is truly divine to relish on weekend evenings. It is mildly spiced with sauces and the addition of peppers n beans not only give it the necessary crunch….but also make it more healthy & yummy.
Something different from those regular spaghetti recipes …….right ???
Method –1.Boil spaghetti as per the instructions on the pack. Pass it through a sieve to remove excess water. Keep aside.
2.Chop beans and garlic into fine pieces. Keep aside.
3.Cut bell peppers into cubes or lengthwise…..as desired. Keep aside.
4.Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic n sauté till light pink.
5.To this add chopped beans n peppers. Saute on high flame for a minute or two.
6.Be careful not to overcook. Beans/peppers should be slightly cooked, but…..still remain crunchy.
7.Now add spaghetti, salt, all the sauces and give a nice stir. Saute for one or two minutes so that all the flavors come together.
It’s ready. Remove from heat n serve.
