White Koffer Fish In Coconut Milk - Seema Mallya
Ingredients:
1/2kg fish (cleanrd & cut into medium slices. Apply pepper powder turmeric, salt & keep for 1 hour.
10 small onions
1 small piece ginger
5 nos garlic
1sting curry leaves
1/4tbs turmeric powder
1tbs red chilly powder
6 to 8 pepper corns crushed
1 lemon size tamarind water
Or 5 no's Gambooge
1cup thin coconut milk
1 cup thick coconut milk
2tbs Coconut oil
Salt
Preparation:
First pour oil & fry small onions chopped small then add garlic chopped, ginger chopped, curry leaves add red chilly powder, turmeric, pepper corn crushed stir well now add tamarind water ou gambooge when it boils add thin coconut milk & allow to boil for 2 min. Carefully drop the fish pieces into it. When the fish is almost done add the thick coconut milk & mix well keep it on low flame for 5min & off the gas & serve with the rice.
