Paneer Babycorn Masala

Paneer Babycorn Masala - Roopa Suraj

Ingredients : 
Baby corn - 10, Paneer - 200 gms., Garam Masala pdr - 1/2 tsp, Red chilli Pdr - 1 tsp, Turmeric pdr - 1/4 tsp, Oil + Ghee - 2 tbsp, Coriander leaves - to garnish.....To grind (1) : 1 onion cubed & fried in oil, 2 tomatoes (Medium ), Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp, green chillies -2-4....to grind (2) : Coconut - 1 & 1/2 tbsp, cashewnuts - 10-12.....to temper : Bay leaf -1 (optional) ,Elaichi -1, Cinnamon-small piece, ccloves - 2.....

Method : 
Cut babycorn into 2 inch pieces & Pressure cook for 3 whistle & keep aside, Grind onion, tomatoes, green chillies & ginger garlic paste into a smooth paste....Heat a kadai with oil , Add tempering items followed by the above ground masala....Add turrmeric pdr, salt , g.m. pdr, Red chi. pdr & mix well, fry on low flame for 5-8 min.....Meanwhile grind cashew (Coconut if using) to a smooth paste & add it & fry again for 2 min...add the cooked baby corn & water to make gravy & bring to a boil ....lastly add paneer cubes & Boil for 2 min....garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
