Fish in Onion Ginger Coconut Sauce ( GSB Cuisine )
1/2 kg Fish ( cleaned n cut)
1/2 coconut Grated
6 red dry chillies
cherry sized tamarind
1 pinch turmeric
2 onions ( medium sized) chopped finely
1 tsp Ginger chopped finely
3 green chillies chopped
salt to taste
1 tsp coconut oil
Grind together coconut , chillies, turmeric, tamarind to a smooth masala.
Transfer this to a vessel and add enuf water to make it a curry consistency.
Add chopped onions , ginger and chopped chillies and bring it to a boil.
Add the cleaned fish and salt and cook for another 2 minutes.
Turn off the gas and sprinkle 1 tsp coconut oil.
Relish with hot rice.
