Missi Roti - Nisha Baliga Shenoy
Ingredients:
1 cup Whole wheat Atta
1/2 cup Besan
2 tbsp chopped Palak
2 tbsp Methi leaves
1/4 tsp coriander pd
1/4 tsp haldi pd
1/4 tsp Ajwain seeds
1/4 tsp red chilly pd
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/2 cup chopped onions
small carrot grated
salt to taste
oil
METHOD
Take a large bowl and add all the ingredients.
Mix well.
Add water slowly as required and knead into a soft dough.
Keep aside for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, Knead well again and make into small balls.
Roll out into small thick rotis.
Heat tawa and fry well on both sides with minimum oil.
Serve warm with chutney or curds.
Good for persons with sugar problems .
A well balanced diet too . Any time snack too. Ideal lunch box snack.
