Dal Makhni with lachha paratha

Dal Makhni with lachha paratha - Preethi Mukesh Rao

Recipe:
Soak 1 cup black urad dal, 2 tbsp rajma and 1 tbsp chanadal overnight. Pressure cook till soft.
Heat butter in a kadai. Add 2 tsp jeera and fry till it changes colour. Add 1 tbsp each chopped ginger and chopped garlic and saute. Add 2 medium onions chopped and 3 slit green chillies. Fry till onions becomes brown. Add 1 chopped tomato. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder. Add the cooked dal and mix well. Add salt and more butter. Cover and cook on a low flame for atleast 20 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves
