Surnali - Vidya Nayak Shenoy

Recipe: 

1 pav dosa rice, soak for 1/2 hr, grind to a fine batter, when u get the smooth consistency add 1/2 fresh coconut n 1/2 pav poha , salt n grind together, add sour curds about 1/4 cup, turmeric pd a pinch for the colour n jaggery according to your taste, keep overnight for fermenting, while preparing the dosa if u don't get the holes in it , I normally add a pinch of baking soda, but my friend Shyamala Kini advised to add 2 slices of bread (Ground to fine paste n mixed with the batter instead of adding soda ), prepare the dosa with ghee.
