Soyabean Pannaupkari - Nutan Shenoy-Kini
Recipe:
Soak overnight 1/2 kg soya beans. Pressure cook to 3 whistles after washing well. Grind to a paste 40 bedgi chillies & a bigger than lemon size ball of tamarind. Slice 5 onions n sauté them in oil. Chop another 5 onions and keep aside. Once the sliced onions are translucent, add ground masala and add water to the mixer jar, rinse well and add to the mixture. Add the cooked soyabeans and raw chopped onions. Boil well for 5 mins. Add salt n mix well. Serve hot with steamed rice. You can also add oil- roasted coriander seeds and a few methi seeds to the masala while grinding.
