Sabudana Wada

Sabudana wada - Nutan Shenoy-Kini

Recipe:

1 cup sabudana(sago)
1/2 cup peanuts
4 medium size potatoes
11/2 tsp jeera
6 green chillies
Salt as reqd
Sugar n lime juice (optional)
Coriander leaves chopped.

Wash sabudana well n let it remain for 5-6 hours. Dont soak.
Dry roast peanuts till it leaves out aroma. Powder with green chillies. Keep aside. Boil potatoes. Mash. Now mix all ingredients. Make balls n flatten to shape.

Heat oil well. Sim gas. Now deep fry wadas. If you heat the oil too much the wadas will burn from outside but will be raw inside. If you fry on low, it ll soak oil
So ensure that oil is hot enough n then fry on sim. Serve with chutney or tomato ketchup.
