BANANA N RAISIN APPOS - Vidya Nayak Shenoy

Grind together one half grated coconut, 2 cups of semolina, 1 cup of Poha (beaten rice), 1 big ball of jaggery, a pinch of salt, 2-3 cardamoms. Grind to a smooth paste and make it slightly thick in consistency. Add a pinch of soda bi carb and keep it aside for 15 mins. At the time of making Appos add 2-3 ripe bananas and some raisins to the batter and make appos with ghee and serve hot.
