Benne Dosa

Benne Dosa - Nandini Kini
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups Dosa Rice
1 tsp Meethi Seeds
1 cup Urad Dal
2 cups Poha (flattened rice)
2 tbsp Maida
1/2 tsp Sugar
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp cooking soda

PROCEDURE:

Soak dosa rice, meethi seeds and urad dal for 5-6 hrs.
Grind this to form a fine batter along with poha.
Let the batter ferment over-night.
Before spreading the dosa, add maida, sugar, salt and cooking soda to the batter.
Make thick dosas with generous amount of butter.
